Errr My Boyfriend Said...?

My boyfriend and I were in his car. I was trying to make him jealous, and said that I would call my male friend right there, in order to make plans with him. My boyfriend replied "Can you call him, when you get home, when I'm not there?" What is that supposed to mean? Is he jealous, or just doesn't care?!
