Will Epi/Gibson Humbuckers Fit on an Epiphone SG special?

(covered humbuckers) like on LP's and such. I wanted to get a new guitar, but i was thinking maybe I could just switch pickups and get the sound i want, you know? Well, kudo's to anyone who knows.
