What exactly is so inspiring about obamas election?

I'm not impressed nor am I inspired. No he would not of stood out and he would of lost the primary let alone the GE. Obama isn't even a high powered lawyer...name an accomplishment he made that gave him the high power status or a job that he held as a lawyer that would give him that status? Chicago politics and race has him where he is today.
