Do casting directors care where you live?
I want to submit my headshot to be an extra in a movie. They are doing the casting for extras in Tennesse. On one board I saw that had a link to it, it said Tennesse talent only. But it didn't say anything about having to live in Tennesse on the Tennesse film site or in the blog about the casing. I live in Southern Illinois, and I am only about 3 hours from Nashville. I go there all the time and my cousin lives there so I could stay with her if I were to get a part. I don't want the fact that I live in Illinois to lessen my chances of getting a part, so should I just omit my illinois address from my letter and put my cousins? Or should I write something in the letter like, i will be living at this tennesse address starting in may (since that is when school lets out and when the filming begins)? Or should I just put the tennesse address on the letter and not even mention it? I do however, have to put what school I go to, which is a community college, so I don't know if they will think
