Though the past convictions do not appear on your record for most parties that are interested in your background, they are visible to certain parties such as a district attorney. The convictions may still be used in court even though they were cleared from your record. They will show up on a county or state employment background check because theirs is conducted by law enforcement and even when a record is expunged or sealed it will show to law enforcement.~
