Anyone tell me what ever happened to ASA (Army Security Agency)? Was it disbanded?

After Russian language course in Monterey, I went to Menwith Hill Station in Yorkshire, England, near Harrogate. There I first met all the NSA spooks. This was 13th USASA Field Station, From there to Frankfut/Main to 251st USASA Processing Co. HQ was at Gutleut Kaserne near Haupt Bahnhof, and we worked in the I.G. Farben Bldg. I fondly remember those strange "Paternoster" elevator/people movers that took us to the top floor of the "I.G, Hochhaus". Used to to go on TDY to Bad Aibling and Sinop, Turkey. Ended as 1LT with MACV in Saigon. We regarded ourselves as"Thje Elite" among Cold Warriiors. Anyone remember those days (early to mid-1960s)?
